We were walking home from dinner the other night (or was it a few weeks ago?), and as we were about to cross Grant street, we noticed that something was amiss. Ah, that was it, the street was eerily dark:
That’s right, no streetlights or anything. Creepy. Here’s a shot of what the street loks like when it’s lit:
Quite the difference. Kind of makes you think what it would be like to be in some place like New Orleans when the power goes out.
The BED says they are “committed to accountability” – so give them a call if your power happens to go out. As for accountability, where is the BED blog? It would be great to see updates, notices, warnings, and thoughts. Not to mention an RSS feed.
